I am a 49yr old father who is unemployed, receiving public assistance and going to school in the Bronx, NY. I barely make ends meet and I am very proud of my son who is doing great in school. Putting my pride in my pocket, I am asking anyone who can, to help me give a great kid (my handsome son Brandon) a Christmas gift. I am very embarrassed in having to ask, but I don't know who else to ask. If there are any Santa's out there who can help me, I would very much appreciate it. My name is Leonardo Vega and my son Brandon is 11 years old. My email is cano1362@yahoo.com and I will give you my phone number when you email me so we can talk. Thank you world, Love saves the Day!
The"Raker" in Raker City... It is sweet that you have your kids. IF YOU COUNTED your blessings, you have a family. While I who helped my family so heavily can't get them to come and cook for me. As i READ YOUR LETTER, I remembered the best games I ever played were NOT board games that is only in the USA in other countries children use their imagination. Imagination helps them get smarter. I remember this teacher, who asked every one of her students to make up a story in their mind and come up to the class to illustrate it, act it out, and then answer any questions. I was the only one in a space ship with a 3-D beam of light that signaled each direction and buttom. So we see that now in the movies. I can't tell you how the rest of the class looked at me, but I was happy. You can play sherades, call the word, call the phrase, dress like someone famous and try to guess who it is. I would encourage you to get involve, but do not let them spend hours watching TV that limits their cognitive development and makes them DUMB. The children don't need board games they NEED you. Set up a Lemonade stand and sit with them DO NOT LEAVE THEM ALONE even if you're phone rings, SELL cookies with the lemonade. Good Luck, I feel weak, and like you even though God has blessed me greatly, sometimes I feel he has forgotten me. That is impossible I know, but the trials we have to pass through determine if we will sink to sin or rise to praise our Lord, and saviour.

Greetings to everyone out there. I am Runako-Gamba. I am a published poet, a storyteller and spiritualist among other things. I believe that if you believe in God (or whatever word you choose to use to describe the Supreme Force and Intelligence of the Universe), then you don't idly sit by and watch the "DAMNED THING" get out of control.
You can pray, chant, sing, vote, protest, boycott, fight if necessary and organize. These things must be done in unison. If you are afraid, then move out of the way of the courageous ones who have the spiritual balance and physical ability to carry these stages of protest out.
God? will not come and simply change your condition without you doing something about it yourself.
Stop blaming God? and other's for your lack of self agression when it comes to making the changes that are necessary for you/us to grow.
Religious people look for reasons to seperate themselves from other's. Spiritual people unite on the basis of what we all have in common. That is the path that I choose to travel. How about you?
